Timothy L. Iverson

1962 - 2013

Timothy L. Iverson, 51, of Burlington passed away Saturday April 6, 2013, after a short battle with cancer, at the Aurora Burlington Hospital.

Tim was born March 12, 1962, to Dan and Jean (nee Peterson) Iverson in Kenosha, Wis. His early life was spent in the Union Grove and Wheatland area. He graduated from Salem Central High School. On May 10, 1997, he was united in marriage to Nancy Jayne Schuerman in New Munster, Wis. Following their marriage they resided in Burlington. Tim worked for Twin Disc and previously was employed by Case and Chrysler. Tim loved spending time with his family; he enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. One of his favorite pastimes was rebuilding old farm equipment to a workable condition, to use in his woods.

Tim is survived by his father, Dan (Pat) Iverson; his wife, Nancy Iverson; and his children, Kaitlin (David) Shellberg, Michael Iverson and Brian Iverson; his siblings, Debbie (Larry) Richter, Teresa (Art) Joerndt, Scott (Ann) Iverson, Dan (Renee) Iverson, Todd (Lori) Iverson and Heidi (Jim) Steger. He is further survived by his mother and father in-law, Dean and Jayne Luke; his brothers and sisters-in-laws, Jerry (Mary) Schuerman, Don (Shelley) Schuerman, Paul (Mona) Schuerman, Deanna Luke and Karen (Paul) Berenson and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday April 11, 2013, at 11 a.m. at. St Alphonsus Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Dineen officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday April 10, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home.

Tims family has suggested that memorial be made to the VNA Hospice.

Tims family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 12th floor nurses at St. Lukes, the VNA Hospice, Anna Kaufmann, Cat and Jodi for their care and keeping Tim comfortable.
