Cooper G. "Coop" Eickstaedt

1995 - 2016

Cooper G. "Coop" Eickstaedt, 21, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016.

Born in Milwaukee on Jan. 21, 1995, he was the son of Jeff and Lisa (Ammendola) Eickstaedt. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools and graduated from Tremper High School in 2013. After he graduated, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and also Gateway Technical College.

Coop was employed by the RecPlex in Pleasant Prairie. He loved music, photography, fishing and skateboarding. He enjoyed riding ATV's and motocross. He also enjoyed playing basketball and cheering on his favorite state teams. Most of all, Coop will be remembered for his big heart, caring for others and his laugh.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Lisa and Robert Dixon of Kenosha; his father and stepmother, Jeff and Tracy Eickstaedt of Kenosha; his brother, Calvin Eickstaedt of Kenosha; his stepbrother, Tyler Dixon of Kenosha; his girlfriend, Alison Charette of Kenosha; his maternal grandparents, Bino and Karen Ammendola of Pleasant Prairie; and his paternal grandmother and step grandfather, Nancy and Ronald Knickelbine of Wild Rose, Wis. He is further survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Eickstaedt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 29, at the Proko Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. Interment will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Milwaukee at 11:30 a.m.

I'm very sad to see a young person, especially one I grew up with pass away. I havent talked to Cooper in years but I think about him from time to time, I regret losing contact with him unfortunately we drifted in highschool. I miss ya, Coop. I cant believe you're gone... You were someone I always admired, an all around great guy. Rest up, brother.

I am very sorry for the loss of your son and brother. Although I did not know him, I too recently loss my 25 year old son, Cory Allen Bisher, who also graduated from Tremper. As a mother, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
