NICHOLASVILLE - Carla Joyce Tufts, 57, lost her battle with cancer Tue Jan 29, at Markey Cancer Center. Born Aug 16, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Carl L. and Reva L. Tufts Carla grew up around Hazard, later moved to Louisiana, but spent most of her life in Nicholasville. She was a member of Southland Christian Church, student of Bluegrass Community College, former employee of McKechnie and House Warmings. She is survived by her sons who were her pride Asher Hall, wife Kristen, Jacob Hall, Silas Hall, wife Loretta, Kalen "Kato" Hall, grandchildren who she adored Breanna, Aiden, Christian, and Elijah Hall, Logan and Marissa Cadieux, sisters Pamela Hubbard, husband Donnie and Angela McCall, nieces and nephews Lucas and Marcus Hubbard, Molly McCall, and Tristen Jones. A Remembrance Ceremony will be held 1pm Fri Feb 1, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Jason Taylor, Josh Fite, Marcus Hubbard, Donnie Hubbard, Asher, Jacob, and Kalen Hall. The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
