Belated but nevertheless heartfelt condolences on the loss of a truly wonderful and generous lady. I just learned of her passing. She was the epitome of southern hospitality when she volunteered in hospitality services for the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event for many years. As Event Director, I enjoyed working with her and the friendship continued even after she moved on to help other groups.

There are so many words to describe Evelyn but what first comes to my mind is style and grace. I often said that Bob and Evelyn were the closest thing to royalty that I have ever known because their lived their lives with the utmost love and respect for one another that endured the almost 65 years of marriage.
One of the finest southern ladies of all time will be greatly missed!
