Jim's brothers and sisters at the Methodist Orphanage in Raleigh, NC held a special place in his heart and he looked forward to their reunion each Easter. Jim joined the US Navy at the age of 18 where he honorably served his country including service in the Vietnam War. He was the owner of C&M Auto Electric for 34 years where he was known for his work ethic and easygoing attitude. Jim loved to talk and never met a stranger. He was at his happiest with a cup of coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other as he was bending someone's ear, a mischievous smile on his face, telling them a story or a quick joke. Compassionate and generous, Jim would literally give someone the shirt off of his back if they needed it. Memorial service 3pm Sun at Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Rd.
