Thomas Reagan

REAGAN Thomas Emmett, 85, beloved husband of 63 years to Audrey Louise Paul Reagan, died Sun. Feb. 24, 2013 at his residence. Born April 2, 1927 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Emmett Anthony Reagan and Helen Victoria Ehrenstrom Reagan. Mr. Reagan served in the U.S. Navy and was a former resident of Park Ridge, IL. He attended Saint Luke Catholic School, Oak Park and River Forest High School, Bradley University, and Northwestern University. He was a former buyer for Raytheon and was employed for 37 years with Master Molded Products Corporation as a Vice-President and Head of Sales in the Chicago area, before retiring to Lexington, KY in 1995. A life-long Catholic, he belonged to St. Pius in Lombard, IL; Mary, Seat of Wisdom in Park Ridge, IL and Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary. Survivors other than his wife include a daughter, Nancy Louise Reagan Wallin; former son-in-law, William G. "Bill" Wallin; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Jean Paul; nieces, Jill Louise Kautz Wright (Harry) and Jacqueline Jean "Jackie" Kautz; grandniece, Marie Louise Wright Daly (Joe) and their son, Brian; grandnephew, Jacob Wesley Wright and his son, Gavin; cousins, Agnes Mary Audy and Delores Pye Josey; family friends Ginger Lee Marenchin Smith, and Ken and Darlene Hejza; devoted caregivers, Holly Smith, Kelissa Crume, Jolee Clemmons, Peggy Causey, and Betty Bett; and special angels, Debbie Anglin and Sheila Vaughn. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Robert Reagan; his in-laws, Hollis Benjamin Paul and Louise Audrey Snodgrass Paul; and a brother-in-law, Lynford E. Kautz. A funeral mass will be held 11am Friday at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church by Father Jeffrey Estacio. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thurs. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Blue Grass or The Lexington Humane Society.
