WELLS Carl E, 83, widower of Hazel Wells, died Friday, August 8, 2014. Born in Okemah, OK, he was the son of the late Marion and Jessie Wells. He was a 20 year US Navy submarine service veteran, served in the Korean War and was a member of the VFW. After his military service, he worked for SEDCO as Chief Staff Engineer. Survivors include four children, Gary (Diane) Wells, Lewisville, TX, Donna(Richard)Burns, Plano, TX, John Wells, Sedona, AZ, and Rodney (Anne) Wells, Lexington, KY; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as one brother, James (Shirley) Wells, Chatsworth, GA. Funeral Services will be Thursday 10am at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8pm.
