BEAN Coleman Buckner passed peacefully at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Wednesday, August 21, 2013, after a brief illness. Born September 24, 1946, he was the son of Ernest Prewitt and Josephine Judy Brown Bean. A longtime resident of Lexington, KY., Bean was graduate of Castle Heights Military Academy, the University of Kentucky, and served in the U. S. Navy. An avid history buff and an entertaining personality, Bean will be remembered by old friends and family. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Bean Morgan, nieces, Dr. Ellen Morgan, Mt. Sterling and Chelsea Morgan Nienaber, Nevada City, CA, a great niece and two great nephews. Expressions of sympathy should be directed to The Hope Center of Lexington, P.O. Box #6, Lexington, KY. 40588. Internment well be at Camp Nelson. The family will remember him with a private service. There will be no visitation. Care Cremation & Funeral Service is charge of arrangements.
