ELLIS Glenn Lee, 71, died Tue, Nov 5, 2013 at THVC with his former wife, caregiver and friend, Judy Ellis Maxson by his side. He was born Jan 3, 1942 in Newcastle, KY to the late Herbert and Sylvia Henderson Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a UK police officer for 25 years. After retiring he was a bailiff for the Fayette County Courts. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Surviving relatives include his brother, Danny Ellis; two step-daughters, Alicia (Troy) Morton and Sarah (Randy) Hines; and seven grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm Wed, Nov 13, 2013 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Thompson Hood Veterans Center, 100 Veterans Drive, Wilmore, KY 40390. Kerr Brothers, Harrodsburg Road in charge of arrangements.
