Hans Kindler Obituary
KINDLER Hans Armin, 92, Lexington, KY, died Sat, July 26, 2014 at Thomson-Hood VA Center in Wilmore, KY. He was born in Dearborn, MI, on July 18, 1922 to Carl Kindler and Martha Kuske. He earned a Silver Star and two Bronze Stars in the US Army Air Force during WWII. After working for Ford Motor for 32 years, he retired to NC. Surviving are daughters Trudy (Michael) Mason, Vicki Jo Smith (fianc Thomas Trayer); daughter-in-law Marianne; grandchildren Amy and Christine Kindler, Eric and Paul (Lisa) Mason, Michelle Snow and Stephanie Smith; great-grandchildren, Bellatora Snow, Weston Locklear, Dean Mason, and Savannah Smith. Preceding him in death are his wife, Constance Ann; son, Randall Kindler; and grandson, Matthew Kindler. A graveside military service will be held at Lexington Cemetery 11am Sat, officiated by family friend John Meadows. Close friends and family will gather at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd., at 10am for the processional. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thomson-Hood Veterans Center, 100 Veterans Dr., Wilmore, KY 40390. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd., in charge of arrangements.
