James Muschette Obituary
MUSCHETTE James, Jr. 77 passed at his residence in Lexington, on July 25, 2014. He leaves to mourn, his wife of thirty three years, Ruth Caise Muschette; three sisters, Pauline Turner, Carol Ford and Pamela Scott; five brothers, Robert, Andrew, Calvin, Karl and Melvin Muschette; two children, James III and Natasha, all of Washington, D.C.; his brother-in-law David Caise, Jr. and sister-in-law Eunice Martin of Lexington, KY. James was preceded in death by his parents James Muschette, Sr. and Mary Scott; his two brothers, Joseph and William Muschette and sister-in-law Cynthia Caise. For thirty years, James served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp, obtaining the rank of Lt. Colonel before retiring in 1987. He then joined the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government, working in the Department of Human Resources until his retirement in 2004. His ready smile, willingness to help anyone and loving kindness will be greatly missed. Funeral services celebrating James' life will be held on Wednesday August 6, 2014 at 1pm at Smith & Smith Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the service, and are encouraged to share their condolences, thoughts and fond memories of James, during the service. James' interment will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
