Charlie was a member of about 20 Engineering students at UK 1965 - 1970 that became very close friends, even to the point of having a couple of reunions in the later years. I just found out about his passing. Charlie was always the sharpest dressed, best looking of our bunch. I hate we have lost him and prayers go to his family.

Charlie hired me as marketing manager for Quest Engineers in 1994. He was my boss and friend for 23 years. He made it very clear, through his personal example, that the bar was going to be set very high for his professional staff. Charlie was old school, he demanded your best efforts and would settle for nothing less. It was a given that no one outworked Charlie. I often disagreed with him, but when it came down to a debate, I always lost. I think he would have made a great criminal attorney. I owe much of my personal and professional success to Charlie's good judgement and leadership. Save me a seat in Heaven, Brother.

As a fellow member of KSPE, Charlie stood out in our profession. Serving with Charlie on various KSPE committees was a pleasure.
One you met Charlie he never forgot you. After more than 10 years, Charlie's emails, texts and periodic contacts continued. When I say Charlie was the image of KSPE, Charlie should continue to stand at the top of our profession. Naming a conference after Charlie should be commended. My admiration for Charlie has lifted me every day. Many condolences to Ann and his family. Charlie will be sincerely missed.

Deepest Sympathy to Ann, Ann, Joyce and Family. Charlie and I were buddies from pre-school in Williamstown. Nothing but great memories of playing down Charlotte Heights and camping at Powderhorn. I can speak for all the scouts in Troop 174 when I say Charlie was loved, admired and will be missed. No surprise he became the man we knew he would.

My thoughts are prayers go out to the wife and children of Charlie. He and I were classmates at Grant County High School and I will always remember his kindness toward others, his work ethic, his spiritual grounding, and his genuine concern for others. I read of his numerous professional accomplishments, and this is no surprise to me......but I will always remember him as a caring, friend. May God bless you in this difficult time...... Dicky ... I am still shocked that he is not with us in body;however, his spirit will live on forever!!
Our thoughts and prayers will be with his family and associates.

Ann, Jason and Lindsey,
Your husband and father has touched hundreds if not thousands of people in many positive ways through our profession and his many volunteer investments.
He recruited me out of UK in 1976 and he and his contemporaries four years ahead of me were my beacon. Charlie has had this personal impact on so many people. He will be greatly missed by you and all of us. Thank you for sharing is life.
