GEORGETOWN - Charles A. "Chuck" Marshall, 90, of Sebring, FL, formerly of Georgetown, widower of Evelyn Howard Marshall, to whom he was married for over 60 years, passed away Mon, Dec 31, 2012, at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. A native of Scott County, he was the son of the late Justice G. and Juanita Bridges Marshall. Chuck was the owner and operator of the former Marshall Construction, a member of Georgetown Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (John) Bratton and Jeanne (John) Holland; three grandchildren, Michael (Tami) Holland, Melinda (David) Parker and Charles (Shannon) Bratton; five great-grandchildren, Peyton, Emma and Sarah Holland, Rachel and Jessica Bratton; and one sister, Lydia (Harlan "Pete") McDonald. Chuck was preceded in death by his siblings, Goebel, Cornelius and Hiram Marshall, Martha Lotterhous and Anna Shearer. Funeral services will be 11am Sat at Johnson's Funeral Home with burial in Crestlawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Charles Bratton, Michael Holland, Jay Marshall, Phillip Marshall, Tim Marshall, John Goebel McDonald and David Parker. Honorary bearers will be Harlan "Pete" McDonald, Becky Cannon and Ronnie Goocey. Visitation will be 4-7pm Fri at the funeral home.
