GEORGETOWN - Doris Smith Ford, 80, wife of James E. "Jim" Ford died Saturday, Sep 15, 2012 at Signature Healthcare of Georgetown. A native of Birmingham, AL, she was born Sep 21, 1931 to the late Joseph and Gladys Smith and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Other survivors include a daughter: Linda (Mark) Gooch, two sons: Tom (Lois) Ford and David (Karen) Ford, eight grandchildren and one brother. Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday at Faith Baptist Church by Rev. Robert M. Fox, Jr. Committal services will be 2:30pm Wednesday in the Somerset Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Faith Baptist Church, or Habitat for Humanity. www.johnsonsfuneralhome.com
