DUNN Madison Charles, Jr., 64, son of Elizabeth Floyd and Madison Dunn, Sr., answered God's call to come up hither on Jan 22, 2013. He was a former member of Pilgrim Baptist Church Lexington, having confessed Jesus as his Lord at an early age. He continued his service to God at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Lexington until his homegoing. Madison served in the United States Army and Army Reserves for 13 years. He was an employee of the V.A. Hospital in Lexington before having to retire because of a service related injury. "Burley," as he was known to many, was a member of the last graduating class (1967) of the original Dunbar High School, and received a Welders Certification from the Kentucky Vocational College. Madison leaves to suffer his loss his daughters, Christine Williams, Lexington; Makesha (Emmanuel) Brainoo, Olathe, KS; son, David C. Shelton-Dunn, Lexington; eight grandchildren; brother, Floyd Dunn; three sisters, Sara Dunn, Charlesetta Dunn, and Loretta McMullen, all of Lexington; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also mourn his loss. Services are Tuesday, Jan 29, 2013. Visitation 10am-12pm with the funeral following at 12pm at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Thurman Dr., Lexington, KY.
