Richard Wilson Obituary

CYNTHIANA - Richard T. Wilson, 82, of Cynthiana died Fri, Dec 2, 2011. He was born March 26, 1929 in Harrison Co, KY, a son of the late Thomas T. and Hugh Ella Humphrey Wilson. Richard was a 1947 graduate of Cynthiana High School, a 1951 graduate of Centre College, member of the First United Methodist Church, the Cynthiana Elks Lodge #438,and he was an honorably discharged Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired accountant having worked for the Kawneer Company, Webber Farms and the National Bank. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Leslie Wilson, his daughters, Leslie Anne (Jim) Wilson, Susan Thomas (Russell Isaac) Wilson all of Cynthiana, 3 grandchildren, Robert Wilson Carroll, Lauren (Asa) Pham, and James Patton Wilson and his great granddaughter, Charlotte Anne Pham. Graveside services will be 2pm Mon, Dec 5, 2011 at the Battle Grove Cemetery, officiated by Rev. James Owens. Friends may call after 12pm Mon until 1:30pm at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. We were sadden to hear of Richards passing.He was a wonderful husband,
father & friend. Richard & Joe had some
great times together playing golf. These memories come back to us today.
