August 2013...100 years since the day a little fellow named Theodore joined the world. For those who don't know, dad's mother was Winnie Theodora Welch Edmonds, hence the name Theodore!

Christmas, 2013, has come & gone. Put up the Christmas lights Mom & Dad so enjoyed. 7 years now since Dad's passing. Still think of him practically daily. Hear myself asking "would Dad approve of how I'm doing this", would this job make him proud, or laugh? Thought of him today on the lake fishin' for crappie..he so loved to be on the water.

August 'll would have been Dad's 98th b'day. Spent the day over at Puncheon Creek on the little farm he & Mom loved so dearly. Miss you.

Ted, Gordon, I understand how it is, My Dad has been gone 38 years, and I still miss him, his advice, sometimes I even hear his voice, I can't say how it is from a son stand point, but I sure do know from a daugther stand point, However, It is sooooooo good to have those memories. God Bless You both, your childerns, and Mother.

Dad would have been 95 in August but didn't make it that far. Still miss him, think of him every day. Miss his words, his advice, his smile, his presence. Happy birthday, Pap.

Yesterday was Dad's 93rd birthday. Spent the day taking care of his chores, mowing the fields of his farm on his little tractor he enjoyed so much. Still see him working the farm, garden, mowing his lawn, doing the things he so enjoyed. Miss you & love you.

It was an honor to serve as a pall bearer for uncle Ted, thank you all for asking me to. He will be missed greatly, but he left a wealth of fond memories. Blessings and peace to all of you.

Our community has certainly been blessed by such wonderful people as the Edmonds family. I have many fond memories and especially the last few years. Big Ted, as we called him, will certainly be missed by all of us.

The good Lord sends people like you to lift others up in difficult times like these. Thank you for your prayers and kind words. Pappaw Ted would be truly humbled to see such an out-pouring of love and compassion. He will surely be missed, but we have a lifetime of loving memories that will live on within each of our hearts. My good friend, so sorry about the going home of your Dad, Wonderful for him, and sad for us that are left here. Someday will be together and won't have to part anymore. He was a good man who raised two wonderful son that have done so much for this State, Community, and County. God needed him more than we did. I am so sorry for your loss. He taught me a valuable lesson about paying attention to what I was doing when waiting on a customer. He helped me become a better employee. Dad slipped quietly into eternity yesterday. He lived a long, good, and full life. He was one of those everyday heroes, doing for his family, his community, his friends. A young Alabama man who found his life's love in a young mountain girl, he will always be an inspiration to his family & friends.
