DAVIS Voty Jay, 87, died Fri, Sep 27, 2013 at the VA Hospital. Born Feb 20, 1926 in Terre Haute, IN, he was the son of the late Edward and Ruth Peters Davis. Mr. Davis was a World War II Marine veteran serving in the South Pacific, and was a member of the American Legion Post 8, the VFW Post 680, and the DAV. He was a retired standard bred horse trainer. Survivors include two brothers, Bud Davis and Edward (Mary) Davis; and two daughters, Gwynneth Harrington and Ashley Peto. Funeral services will be 1pm Fri at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be 9am Fri until the service time at the funeral home.
