Winfred Williams Obituary

PARIS - Winfred A. "Buddy" Williams, 80, a farmer, died Tue, Feb 22, 2011 at his home on Quest Farm where he had lived since 1987. He was born Oct 21, 1930 in Lexington, son of the late Cary Alford and Sarah Griffin Williams and was a member of Antioch Christian Church. He is survived by three brothers, Kenneth (Judith, deceased) Williams, Paris, Edward (Susan) Williams, Paris, Cary (Sue) Williams, Tampa, FL; four sisters, Wanda (Donald) Thompson, Bourbon County, Mary Ann (Jerry) Kuykendall, Lexington, Linda (Harold, deceased) Sullivan, Brenda (Robert) Cotter, Maryland, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12pm Mon, Feb 28, at the Antioch Christian Church by Rev. Bob Mallory and Rev. Tracy Parker with burial in the Lexington Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Phillip Williams, Dan Williams, Nate Williams, Mike Thompson, Kevin Howard, and Paul Thompson. Honorary bearers will be the Quest Farm farmers. Visitation will be after 10am Mon at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Quest Farm, 627 Glass Pike, Georgetown, KY 40324 or Antioch Christian Church. www.hinton-turnerfuneralhome.com
