Obituary Condolences

BERRY - Robert Woodrow Lenox, 92, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at his home. He was a native of Harrison County, born December 17, 1921, the son of William A. and Bessie Jolly Lenox. He was a member of the Berry United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Berry Lions Club and member of the Pythian Grove Cemetery Board. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Pacific Theatre at New Guinea and the Philippine Islands. Mr. Lenox was a retired rural letter carrier and a life-long farmer. Mr. Lenox was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn DeMoss and a brother, Lawrence Lenox. Survivors include his wife, Dollie Bell Lenox; a son, Robert Michael (Alice) Lenox; a grandson, William Barton Lenox; a goddaughter, Stephanie (Eric) Whitson and caregivers, Barbara and Randall Dennis, Lisa Stout and Kristy Willoughby. Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Ware Funeral Home. Internment at Pythian Grove Cemetery. Visitation 11am until service.
