Obituary Condolences Gallery

GOOSLIN Theron, 84, Lexington, died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the VA Medical Center. He was a son of the late Millard Gooslin, Sr. and Pearl Cox Gooslin. A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, he was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved music, was a singer/songwriter and recorded and performed in Nashville, TN. During the 1970's he performed at the Continental Inn and various other places in Lexington. He was a door greeter at Wal-Mart. Survivors include a brother, Bobby Gooslin; numerous nieces and nephews; and special family members, Florence (Tim) Miner and Brenda Coleman. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Hazel, Doug, Lloyd, Haven "Tiny", Bernice, Millard and Wanda. Funeral services will be 10am Thursday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home Main Street. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8pm today.
