ARMSTRONG Austin Lee, 19, of Lexington, passed away on April 20th, 2012. His life was cut short from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident earlier that morning. The wonderful son of Jeff Armstrong and Ruth Greathouse was born in Lexington, KY on Dec 12th, 1992. Austin graduated from Lafayette High School in 2011 where he played as a wide receiver on the football team and wrestling team throughout his high school career. He was currently attending The University of Kentucky majoring in Economics. Austin worked as a manager for Edip Elitas at the Fayette Mall kiosks. Austin is survived by his parents, Jeff Armstrong and Ruth and Jess Greathouse; siblings, Jeffrey Armstrong II, Ashley Branson of Lexington KY, Lauren Joseph of Viper KY; brother-in-law Wally; niece Skyler Branson; his Princess Rebecca Cooper; "brother" Shamon Brown; grandparents Jean and Jerry Gibbs, Maggie Anderson, the late David Lee Armstrong and Donald Evan Anderson; and a host of other family and friends. Services will be held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Rd. on Wed, April 25th, 2:30pm with visitation on Tue, April 24th from 4-8pm. Pastor Anthony Martin will be conducting the services. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Donations are being accepted at any Chase Bank location under Austin Armstrong.
