PEREL Dr. John Harold, 66, died on Nov 28, 2012. He was a retired Dentist and a US Navy veteran. He was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Kentucky Dental School and member and treasurer of Ohavay Zion Synagogue. He was an active student of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and volunteer ESL instructor. He was also a Spanish instructor. Survivors include his family, Janice Crane, Eli Crane, and Will Crane, Lexington; two brothers, Stephen (Frances) Perel, Houston, TX, and Robert (Linda Chew) Perel, El Paso, TX; and many special friends. Funeral, Friday, 12pm, Milward-Broadway with burial following at Lexington Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Howard Rackmil, Bruce Broudy, Bennett Bayer, Jimmy Mischner, Buddy Pollon, and Ron Stark. Leon Cooper will be an honorary casket bearer. He will be missed dearly by his legion of family, friends, and associates.
