TRIMBLE Delmer Ray, 66, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 in Morgantown, WV. Born February 13, 1946 in Paintsville, KY, he was a son of the late Luther Grant and Tellie Tackett Trimble. Delmer enjoyed picnics, and loved his family. He always thought of others first, had a great sense of humor, and avidly loved woodworking and playing golf. He was also famous for his meatloaf. For the past six months of his life, he had the pleasure of living with each of his daughters and their families, leaving them with precious memories. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his previous wife, Carolyn Pettit Trimble; and two sisters, Anna Spears (Earl) and Eulah Reynolds. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Carolyn Capps Trimble; two daughters, Susan Flowers (Allen) of Morgantown, WV and Katherine Moore of Olive Hill, KY; two stepsons; four grandchildren, Garrett Demase, Lauren Moore, and McKayla and Carissa Sergeant; a brother, James Trimble (Sharon) of Lexington; and three sisters, Mabel Spears Johnson, Arminta McIntyre Copley (Don) and Beulah Chambers, all of Ashland, KY; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held 12:30pm Saturday at Kerr Bros. Harrodsburg Rd. by Bro. Jim Crouch. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Dr. Lexington KY 40504 in his memory.
