GRIFFIN Jimmy Leon, Sr., 62, died Wednesday, Aug 14, 2013. Born in Middlesburg, KY, he was a son of Hubert and Minnie Hamm. He was a veteran of the Army having served during the Vietnam War. Survivors other than his parents are two sons, Christopher Griffin, Georgetown, and Jason Vest, Lexington; three grandchildren, Justin, Jonathan and Megan Griffin; one great-grandchild, Cayden Willis; a brother, Darrell (Rhonda) Hamm, Lexington; a sister, Regina (Mike) Ripberger, Irvine; his previous wife, Edna Traylor, Georgetown; numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Leon Griffin Jr.; and a brother, Jeffery L Hamm. Funeral services will be 12:30pm Saturday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home -Main St. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:30am-12:30pm Saturday.
