CORBIN - Charles "Charlie" William Craig, age 93, of Woodbine, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 at UK Healthcare, Lexington, Ky. Charlie was born May 5, 1920 in Glendale, KY to the late William Craig and Ella Sutton. Charlie was of the Baptist faith. He played high school ball for Williamsburg, and played the first game in Edwards gymnasium. He also played college basketball for Cumberland College. His nickname was "Speedy". He was a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Kentucky State House of Representatives in the 1950s. He was a purchasing agent for Comp Care for approximately forty years. He was preceded in death by; wife, Glenna Alma Perkins, and sister Ruth Sutton Craig. Survived by; daughter, Nancy Lynn Kreye, of Richmond, VA, a devoted grand-daughter, Rebecca Lynn Keithley, of Washington, DC, grandson, David Craig Keithley, of Leadville, CO, two special friends; Pearl Ray Lefevers, of London, KY, Paul Ray McGeorge, of Manchester, KY. Funeral services are 2pm, Monday, November 4, 2013, at O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel, with speakers being, Bro. Roland Mullins, Rebecca Keithley, Ralph Lipps, Danny Jones, and Pearl Ray Lefevers. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Lily, KY. Pallbearers; Paul McGeorge, Ralph Lipps, Roland Mullins, Tommy Parsons, Don Estep, Cecil Campbell, and Danny Jones. Honorary Pallbearers; David N. Keithley, David Goodin, Matt A. Zavala, Brandon McGeorge, Zach McGeorge, and Tobin P. Foster.
