Jacob T. Covey

COVEY Jacob "Jake" Tyler, 24, husband of Faleshia Pyland Covey, passed away on Sun, Aug 21, 2016. Born Jan. 18, 1992 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Kenneth Kerwin Goodpaster and Lisa Carol Hillard Hayslett. Jake was a 2010 graduate of Bourbon Co. High School where he played basketball and baseball. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. In addition to his parents and high school sweetheart Faleshia, he is survived by a daughter, Lyndsey Faith; son, Liam Jacob; sister, Megan (Bob) Bosley; maternal grandmother, Rita Davis Hillard; paternal grandparents, Kenneth R. and Sharline Rodgers Goodpaster; two nieces, Kylee and Emma; two nephews, Skylar and Dalton; and a mother-in-law, Karen Grahan. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Andrew Hillard. Funeral services will be 12:30pm Thu, Aug 25, 2016 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home Harrodsburg Rd. with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wed at the funeral home. A fund for his children's education will be set up at a later date.
