SNOW HILL - Ms. Joyce Radford Mooring, 65, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013. A native of Greene County, she was born the daughter of Frank and Belva Corrine Radford. Ms. Mooring was a graduate of Greene Central High School, had attended Wilson Technical Community College and was a member of Harrell's Chapel FWB Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Harrell's Chapel Church with the Reverend Ronnie Mohn officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ed Radford and Kenneth Radford. Her surviving family includes her son, Randall Mooring of Wilson; daughter Paula Mooring of Snow Hill; grandson Ryan Mooring of Wilson; brother Lin Radford and wife Sudie, of Snow Hill; sisters-in-law Katie Radford of Snow Hill and Kay Radford of Washington; and several nieces, nephews and special friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service and other times at the home of Lin Radford, 210 Lakeside Drive, Snow Hill.
