BEULAVILLE | John Edward "Jack" Blair, 76, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, followed by visitation at Piney Grove Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, Beulaville. Graveside services will be at noon Monday at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Blair of Beulaville. Bradbury, Edwin O.* - KINSTON  
KINSTON | Mr. Edwin Osborn Bradbury, age 68, a resident of Kinston and a former resident of New Bern went to be with his Lord and savior on Saturday August 22, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Bradbury was born in Carteret County on October 9, 1946 son of the late Edwin Harry Bradbury and the late Sara Elizabeth Baxter Bradbury. He was a graduate of New Bern High School and earned two Masters Degrees, one in education and one in music, from East Carolina University. He was a teacher and band director at Woodington Middle School. Mr. Bradbury was a member of Northwest Christian Church of Kinston where he served as music director and was a member of the Kinston Lions Club. Survivors include two sons: William "Will" Bradbury (Donna) of Chocowinity and Lee Richard Bradbury of Kinston; a daughter: Elizabeth Jeffers (Scott) of Charlotte; a brother: Nathaniel Macon Bradbury of New Bern; a sister: Jo Ann Bradbury of Deerfield, NH and eight grandchildren: Caleb Bailey, Mason Jeffers, Hannah Bailey, David Bailey, Benjamin Jeffers, Ian Bradbury, Graceanne Jeffers and Ryan Bradbury. Mr. Bradbury was predeceased by a daughter: Kathryn Bailey and a sister: Sara Alexander. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 12, Memphis, TN 38148.
