She was a very special mom, wife, and friend to many. She loved all her family dearly. Her nieces and nephews were very special to her; they were all like adopted children. She was a member of Armenia Christian Church which she loved. She was a homemaker and a jack of all trades, a great seamstress, whom she made many friends with. She loved cooking, quilting, and spending time with her family. She liked canning and freezing from their big garden each year and loved sharing vegetables with family and friends. She was a member of the Wyse Fork Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She and Billy both always worked for that fire department from the beginning. Still do twice a year. We have lots of special friends from Bojangles. She was a loving person. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with the Rev.
