KINSTON - Daniel Pinckney Harrelson, Jr., 86 passed away Tuesday June 19, 2012 at Autumn Care in Saluda. Mr. Harrelson was a member of Kinston Church of Christ, a Navy Veteran of WW II, and retired from Western Union as a Technician after 42 years. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home with Ron Edwards officiating. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Daniel K. Harrelson and wife Janie of Easley, S.C., his daughter, Carol Ann Carruth and husband Lon of Silverdale, Washington, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Edwards Funeral Friday from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research Center P.O.
