KINSTON - Evelyn "Evie" Jones, 72, of 712 Girlscout Road, died Monday, June 11, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home. Survivors include a son, Adrian "AJ" and wife Cathy, of Kinston; daughter Marion "Charlene" and husband Emanuel, of Maryland; four grandsons, Elbert, John, and Brian of Maryland, and Emanuel Jr. of Texas; two great-granddaughters, Daijion and Janae of Maryland; two brothers, Cliff and wife Phyllis of Greensboro, and Roger of Kinston; two sisters, Yvonne of Kinston and Mary of Greenville; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
