GOLDSBORO - George Clifton Butler Sr., 65, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at 7 p.m. from Greater Vision Baptist Church in Kinston with Dr. Mike Creekmore. Survivors include his wife, Debra Morris Butler of Kinston; stepchildren Amy Elizabeth Stroud of Goldsboro and Jonathan Stroud of Vanceboro; sister Faye Lewis of Aurora and three grandchildren.
