KINSTON - Hollie Ruth Paramore Skinner, 91, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Spring Arbor of Greenville. She was a retired seamstress with 30 years of service with Kinston Shirt Factory and was a member of Kinston First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Skinner Sr.; and a grandson, Mark Skinner. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, from the chapel of Garner Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 1-2 p.m. Survivors include her son, Ralph Skinner Jr. and wife Dee, of Corpus Christi, Texas; four grandchildren, Steven Skinner and wife Laura, Todd Skinner and wife, Diana, all of Odem, Texas, Shannon Manthei and husband Rick, of Corpus Christi, Texas, Amy Keliehor and husband, James of Conroe, Texas; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; nieces Elizabeth Craft and husband Ed, Iris Smith and husband Van; nephews Larry Skinner and wife Betty, Douglas Skinner and wife Karen; very special friends, Dennis Daniels and wife Christy and Neil Hemby and wife Pat. Special thanks to Dr. Peter Watson and her caregivers, Linn, Debbie and Brooke with 3HC Hospice.
