LA GRANGE - James Alton Davis Jr., 67, of 305 Robinia Drive, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at St. Luke F.W.B. Church with Pastor Maurice Goodall officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Survivors include daughters, Sabrina Goodall, Prekeysha Williams, Laura J. Williams, Beverly Cook and Irish Williams, all of La Grange; brother Dempsey L. Davis of Kinston; sisters Mary Davis Johnson of Kinston, Celestine Davis of Greenville; and six grandchildren. Visitation was held Friday, Aug. 17 at Swinson Funeral Service. Arrangements are with Swinson Funeral Service.
