KINSTON - James Parrott "Jimmy" Hayes Jr., 78, of 2100 Riley Road, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5, at Garner Funeral Home and other times at the home. A private service will be held at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Bradley officiating. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Hayes of the home; sons Jay Hayes of Emerald Isle and Larry Hayes of Kinston; sister Sandy Morgan of Gainesville, Fla.; his brother, Boo Hayes of La Grange; and one grandson.
