KINSTON - Joanne Bremner Cashin, 65, of Kinston passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, at her residence. Joanne was a retired secretary and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cashin. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Bill John Acosta Escobar officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. A rosary will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday night at Edwards Funeral Home with visitation to follow. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Cashin and granddaughter, Dana Oddo of New Jersey; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kay Swaney and Dan Swaney of New Jersey; many nephew, nieces and cousins.
