GRIFTON - Joanne Chapman, 57, of 708-D Grifton Manor, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at Ayden Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 11, at Bread of Life Tabernacle in Grifton with the Rev. Russell Rouse officiating. Survivors include her son, Curtis Leon Chapman of Kinston; mother Alice Williams of Ayden; sisters, Phyllis Harris of Greenville, Janice Roberson of Ayden and Alice Dail of Grifton; brother, Gregory Williams of Baltimore, Md.; and six grandchildren.
