CAPE CARTERET - John Stephen Kobal, 65, of Cape Carteret, died at home Wednesday, April 4, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jones Kobal of the home; brothers Steve Kobal and Charlie Kobal of Lehighton, Pa.; stepchildren Joe Dioszeghy and wife Jennifer, and Ashley Dexter and husband Matt, all of Overland Park, Kan.; and step-grandchildren, Kylie Dexter, Joey Dioszeghy and Alex Dioszeghy.
