COVE CITY - Luvenia Golden Giaspen, 76, of 787 Asbury Road, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at UniHealth Care-Neuse. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 7 at Mt. Mariah MB Church with the Rev. Kevin Jarman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenleaf Memorial Park.Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Lee Giaspen of the home; one son, Willis Roosevelt Hall Jr. of New Bern; one daughter, Rose Jackson of Jasper; seven sisters, Louise Brown, Cove City, Rosa Harper and Agnes Golden, both of Dover, Gladys Webb of New Bern, Lillie Boomer, Willie Estelle King and Gaynell Boomer, all of Dover; three grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Ms. Agnes Golden, 201 Old Mill Road, Dover. Viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m-6 p.m. Monday Aug. 6 at Oscar's Mortuary Inc. of New Bern. Online condolences are accepted at oscarsmortuary.com.
