TRENTON - Mary Helen Davis Davidson, 75, of Trenton passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012. Born in Jones County on June 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Julia Ann Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Earl Davidson, one sister and six brothers. Survivors include her husband, Thelbert Earl Davidson of the home; her daughter, Dean McDonald and husband Jay of Trenton; her son, Jimmy Davidson and wife Carol of Trenton; her sister, Dorothy Carolyn Jones of Kinston; her seven grandchildren, Pennie Ipock, Dora Towes, Aaron Davidson, Steven Davidson, Jason Davidson, Earl McDonald and Abby Heath; and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Garner Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Jimmy at 127 Eubanks Extension, Trenton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from the chapel of Garner Funeral Home with Preacher George Daniels officiating.
