KINSTON - Morris Mobley, 87, of Kinston passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at his home. A native of Duplin County, he spent his younger years in the Kinston area and was a veteran of World War II. He married Jacqueline Kingan in 1941 and raised five children. He spent the majority of his life as a salesman and retired from Hillco, Ltd in 2005 where he was employed as a mail clerk. Mr. Mobley was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Jacqueline. Survivors include his daughters, Pamela Mobley of Kinston and Patricia Wagner of Midlothian, Texas; a close daughter-in-law, Lorreine Mobley of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Jackie Cockrell of Greenville, Chris Wagner and wife Lisa, of Midlothian, Texas, Kit Mobley of Kinston, Danielle Harrison and husband Brad, of Snow Hill, Stephanie Tyndall and husband Gray, of Salinas, Calif., Eric Wagner and wife Deb, of Martinsburg, W.Va., Mandy Tigert and husband James, of Greenville, Amy Edmonds and husband Jon, of Lunexa, Va. and Jack Mobley Jr. of Mount Olive; great-grandchildren Austin Tyndall, Tyler Harrison, Aly Tyndall, Nathan Wagner, Matthew Wagner, Natalie Wagner, Addison Wagner, Ethan Tyndall, Zachary and Sara Kate Harrison and Rachel Tigert. A service of remembrance will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Jason McKnight officiating. Graveside services will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the services at the home on 2195 Fred Everett Road.
