GREENSBORO - Robert "Bob" Deffenbaugh, 85, passed away August 30, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital. A cryptside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Lakeview Memorial Park. Robert was born October 27, 1926, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to the late James Atlee and Adele Marie Deffenbaugh. In addition to his parents Mr. Deffenbaugh is preceded in death by his brothers, James William Deffenbaugh and Donald Deffenbaugh.He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Pauline S. Deffenbaugh; daughters Paula Hardie (Robert) and Shari Robin Deffenbaugh; and granddaughters, Ashlyn Nicole Hardie and Lauryn Michelle Hardie. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 1, 2012, at 1 p.m., one hour prior to the service, in the new mausoleum at Lakeview Memorial Park.
