KINSTON - Robert Lee Eubank, 81, of Kinston passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center of Goldsboro. Robert served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a retired route salesman, a member of the American Legion Post 504, and a member of the Gideon's for numerous years. He was also a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as an usher and Sunday School Superintendent. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014, at First PH Church with the Reverend Brian Rogers and the Reverend Frederick Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Trenton Cemetery with military honors. Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Sadie E. Eubank of the home; his daughters, Peggy Parks and husband Ronnie, of Mount Olive, Pamela Elmore and husband Jim, and Angela Becton and husband Claude, all of Kinston; his son, Robert Eubank Jr. and wife Susan, of Yorktown, Va.; his sisters, Kathleen Eubanks of Snow Hill, Margaret Humphrey of Cary and Eleanor Rose Eubanks of Kinston; his brother, Fountain Eubank of La Grange; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
