KINSTON -Verna Coston, 87, of 8-F Simon Bright Apts., died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Swinson Funeral Service with Pastor Robby Millard officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara A. Coston of Kinston; and sister, Virginia Bryant of Brooklyn, N.Y. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
