SNOW HILL - Mrs. Linnie Rae Ginn Hedgepeth, 76, died Monday, April 7, 2014. A native of Greene County, she was born October 18, 1937, the daughter of Fred W. and Bettie Huber Ginn. Mrs. Hedgepeth was a retired correctional officer and a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the Snow Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Steven Gay officiating. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Hedgepeth; brother William "Jack" Ginn; and sister-in-law, Elma Bowen. Her surviving family includes her children, Wanda Hedgepeth of Garner, Dennis Hedgepeth and David Hedgepeth, both of Snow Hill; sister-in-law, Margaret Ann Jones of Whitakers; and brother-in-law, Robert Hedgepeth of Rocky Mount.
