SNOW HILL - Della Elizabeth Stallings Hill, 89, of Greendale Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry and Janie Rouse Stallings; and the father of her children, Gordon Earl Hill. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013, from Garner Funeral Home with Richard Parker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013, at the Trenton Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter, Hazel Jane Hill of Kinston; her sons, Franklin E. Hill and wife Marsha, and Charles V. Hill and wife Nancy, all of Kinston and Raymond E. Hill and wife Brenda, of La Grange; sisters Doris Ann Norton of Greensboro and Christine Kellum of Jacksonville; brothers Paul Revere Stallings of Trenton and Joseph Stallings of Beulaville; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend and caregiver, Mary Ann O'Neal of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
