SNOW HILL - Mr. Benjamin Franklin Webber Jr., 77, died Monday, January 7, 2013. Frank was born August 11, 1935, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Gussie Ward Webber. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had retired from the Greene County School Bus Garage where he was a mechanic and supervisor. Following retirement, Frank continued to work as a small engine mechanic as well as enjoy his hobbies of fishing and racing. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 10, at the Snow Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Ed Thornton officiating. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Sue Webber. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Gray Webber; grandchildren Kathy Shirley Sauls and husband Kevin, of Snow Hill, and Jerry Franklin Williams of Snow Hill; great-grandchildren Ashley Sauls, John Sauls and Austin Sauls; and great-great-grandchildren, Caroline Sauls and Aubree Williams.
