Ralph Hamlet Obituary

HAMLET, RALPH G. - age 66, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009. He was a loving husband and father, as well as an avid golfer. He was retired from Exedy, Inc. and formerly employed at Allied Chemical and Aristocrat. Preceded in death by parents, Alex Hamlet and Maud Clinton; brothers, David and Charles Hamlet. Survived by wife of 31 years Darlene Hamlet; daughter, Teresa Hatfield; son, James Parrott, Jr. and wife Tracy; daughters, Oleta Sims and husband Randy, Angel Christian and Darla Keirsey and husband Brian; grandchildren, Daniel Hatfield and wife Tracy, Rebecca Raines and husband Doug, Jonathan Parrott, James Parrott, Christine Parrott, Joseph Parrott, Dee McNutt and Hayden Keirsey sisters, BerthaTrentham and Mary Karr; brother, Alex Hamlet, Jr.; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, one cousin and two aunts; dear friends, Richie and Jackie Owen. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm with the funeral service at 8 pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Pastor Randy Sims officiating. Interment will be at 1 pm Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Pallbearers, Randy Collinsworth, Scott Colinge, Mike Moore, Keith Shropshire, Robert Cronnin and Daniel Hatfield.
