Brenda and Family,
So very sorry for your loss. Andy was such a wonderful, caring person. My Mom and Step-Dad Jim and Louise Stephens thought of him as a son. Haley loves you all, as do I. Heaven has a shining angel. God Bless you all during this difficult time.

Lindsay and I have always felt so blessed to be a part of Phil's family. You every one have always made us feel so welcome and loved. But with that love has to come the heartbreak of beloved family members passing. And we can only imagine how you all are feeling losing that funny, cheerful and faithful loved one we know as Andy. Anyone who knew him at all knew how much he loved his family. Try to cherish that love between the tears. We will continue to pray for all of you, that you will be aware of God's presence and love in a special way now.

Winkle family,
I knew Andy for several years through Quality and B&B in Oak Ridge. He was always so upbeat and positive about everything. I am sure he faced his illness in the same positive manner. I had only recently learned of his illness, and was again reminded of the question, "why do bad things happen to good people?" Only God knows his plan and we just have to trust in him. Treasure all the wonderful memories that you will always have of him.

I still have wonderful chidhood memories of Andy and the Winkle family. Lots of laughter and joy were enjoyed by all. Bonny Kate and Doyle HS would have been a much more boring place without Andy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My heart aches for each of you in your loss and for myself in knowing that such an important part of my childhood is gone. We had such wonderful times playing ball in McCammon's field, riding our bikes up and down Winkle Road and "getting rich" picking strawberries. At the time we thought the money MaryAnn paid us was great ....now we know that the richness was in memories that no money can buy! I'm sure Andy will have a place ready for all of us to live those beautiful memories over again and again. Love to all of you. Debbie

I worked with Andy at Burgin Dodge for 7 years. He would come up to the showroom every morning and would always stop and have something funny to say. He would always leave me doubled over laughing. Always was smiling. What a joy he was. Many prayers for all of his family.

If ever Jesus ran out to meet a friend and welcome him home, he did so for Andy this weekend. What a joyous reunion for them both! I know you are heartbroken, but the sorrow is for use here. (I know you all know this before I even say the words.) I am thankful to have experienced Andy's honest friendship - and Brenda's. I have been blessed in this lifetime. I love you all. You are in my prayers.
